As with any server-side technology, proper installation and knowing the pitfalls and potential timewasters will help you get past the details and on to the fun part--writing code. The first part of this six-hour class will be spent installing PHP and making sure it is properly configured. We will also cover the initial settings and how to connect to the engine once it is up and running. You'll also work with variables and loops, comparing strings and conditional expressions. Before enrolling in this class, students should have a general understanding of working with PHP.
